For those wanting a cell phone that can take pictures at a quality resembling a digital camera’s one, Sony Ericsson offers the 5 megapixel camera K850i handset. Expected, since the first rumors about its existence, with great curiosity all over the world, the K850i Cyber-shot made its debut on the market this month and, as of today, it’s available in Romania too. It’s released via Vodafone and comes in two color options: Velvet Blue and Luminous Green.

K850i’s 5 megapixel camera comes with Xenon flash, auto focus and other advanced functions to offer the best pictures you’ve ever seen on a mobile phone. The BestPic function, used when capturing Enlarge picture moving images, enables you to take 9 pics with a single click – then you choose the one you like best and you can delete the other 8. Sony Ericsson K850i also features Photo fix, for automatic light adjustments and PictBridge. Although complex, K850i’s camera is easy to use, due to its new intuitive menu that lets you easily access its functions.

Besides the 5 megapixel camera, Sony Ericsson K850i comes with other outstanding multimedia features. Its new browser lets you manage all the media files: you can view, sort and access your pictures, video and music. Also, you have an intelligent search option that enables you to search and find pictures by the date they were made.

Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber-shot has a crystal-clear TFT screen of 2.2 inches and a 240 x 320 pixel resolution. With small dimensions, only 102 x 48 x17 millimeters and an elegant design, the phone is bound to be successful.

Being a HSDPA 3G enabled mobile phone, it can offer data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps. Moreover, the phone can be connected through GPRS or USB and looks good with an optional Bluetooth IV840 headset that can provide up to 9 hours of hands-free conversation.
