Brainshark Chooses AT&T for New Network Services

Posted by Devicer @ 07:46 pm

AT&T announced a new contract to provide hosting and network services to Brainshark, a leader in on-demand presentations.

Under the terms of the three-year contract, AT&T will now serve as Brainshark’s primary network and data services provider. AT&T will use its Primary Rate ISDN (PRI) service, hosting, audio conferencing, AT&T Integration Solutions and a robust Managed Internet Service (MIS) solution via a high-speed (DS3) connection.

The PRI service will allow Brainshark to use the public telephone network to carry an all-digital signal that can satisfy all voice and data communications needs in an efficient and flexible way. The MIS solution is intended to support advanced video and data communications, such as media connectivity, file transfers and other business-critical corporate operations for Brainshark. The flexibility of MIS allows the service to expand when additional bandwidth is needed to accommodate the company’s evolving communications needs.

“As our business continues to grow, the sheer volume of data requires a strengthened network solution,” said Arnie Greenfield, chief technology officer and vice president of Engineering for Brainshark. “These services provide the reliable infrastructure that is the platform for the solutions that Brainshark ultimately sells to our customers.”

Brainshark needed these products, along with AT&T’s Integration Solutions’ seamless network integration services, for its constantly expanding software, including live and on-demand features.
