AT&T announced a two-year contract to provide global voice services to Corning Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of specialty glass and ceramics. Under the contract, AT&T will provide international voice, video and teleconferencing, calling-card and toll-free services to more than 120 Corning locations worldwide.
With a global reach to more than 240 countries, AT&T International Voice will help Corning communicate seamlessly with offices and customers around the globe. The solution, which employs switching and transport networks with multiple levels of breadth and depth, will help ensure that all calls throughout AT&T’s global network are secure and reliable. Further support will be provided by AT&T’s Network Operations Center, which will monitor and manage the network 24/7.
The services also will allow business travelers and remote workers to use AT&T’s teleconferencing and calling-card services for flexible, cost-effective communications all across the globe. With AT&T Direct Toll-Free service, Corning can use its U.S. toll-free number both domestically and internationally, further simplifying the calling experience for employees.
