The fourth handset of the Black Label Series boasts a distinctive 4.0-inch wide screen high-definition LCD with an 800 by 345 pixel resolution for a superb viewing quality. The wide screen breaks away from conventional screen designs with a 21:9 aspect ratio for a panoramic, cinema-like quality and optimal mobile computing experience.

AT&TAT&T today announced a new agreement with The University of South Carolina (USC) to provide Wi-Fi access at the University’s Columbia, S.C., campus. AT&T and the University will equip more than 160 buildings across the campus, as well as outdoor spaces, with high speed wireless broadband from AT&T Wi-Fi Services. The move will connect more than 30,000 students, faculty, staff and guests.

With the increased use of online learning resources and social networking among students, faculty and staff, as well as the popularity of mobile applications, college campuses have great demands for bandwidth. The campus wide Wi-Fi service will provide hotspot zones and allow Wi-Fi enabled devices to access its network.

As part of a series of instructional webinars and training courses available on AT&T’s small business Web site, www.att.com/SmallBusinessInSite, the upcoming webinar, “10-10-10 For Business,” will feature noted business commentator, journalist and author Suzy Welch.

Suzy Welch attended Harvard Business School, joined the Harvard Business Review as a senior editor in 1995 and was named editor-in-chief in 2001. During her tenure there, she was the author of numerous articles on leadership, change, creativity and organizational behavior, as well as the contributor to several books on management.

Alcatel-LucentAlcatel-Lucent has been awarded a multi-million dollar, three-year contract to help build Globalive Wireless’s new nationwide 3G mobile network in Canada.

Globalive is focused on launching a new national wireless operation, serving consumers across Canada. In 2009 Globalive was awarded spectrum licenses by Industry Canada after successfully bidding more than CDN $442 million in the government’s Advanced Wireless Services auction.
