Chaperone, originally introduced in 2006, is a convenient way to help determine the location of your child’s cellphone using the Internet or another cellphone. When children carry a Verizon Wireless cellphone while on-the-go, the Chaperone Web site or the Chaperone Parent Get It Now® application can be used to view location information or be notified of the whereabouts of the Chaperone Child phone.

AT&TAT&T announced today that the Text Accessibility Plan (TAP) for iPhone 3G will give customers with disabilities unlimited text messaging, Web browsing and easy access to e-mail for $50 per month. Customers with disabilities wishing to use enterprise email can sign up for a $65 per month plan that features unlimited messaging, data, and support for enterprise email with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. Pay-per-use voice is included in both the consumer and enterprise TAP at $.40 per minute.

NokiaNokia today unveiled a trio of mobile devices that balance stunning and sophisticated looks with the latest in mobile functionality. All three devices, the Nokia 6600 fold, the Nokia 6600 slide and the Nokia 3600 slide present a smooth, minimalist design and an appealing array of easy-to-use features. AT&T Launches the GPS-Enabled Blackberry Pearl 8110 Smartphone

AT&TAT&T and Research In Motion today announced the launch of the BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8110 smartphone, which includes built-in global positioning system (GPS) support for location-based applications and services. Combined with navigation and mapping applications such as AT&T Navigator, the handset provides turn-by-turn voice and on-screen directions with colorful 3-D moving maps that can be used in vehicles or while walking. AT&T Navigator also alerts users through voice and on-screen prompts to traffic slowdowns and incidents along their programmed travel route, and it provides customers with the option to choose an alternative route.
